PETALING JAYA: National judoka Amir Daniel Abdul Majeed could be handed an Asian Games lifeline after his historic Commonwealth Games gold in Glasgow.

The 21-year-old Amir stands a chance of competing at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games from Sept 19-Oct 4 if an appeal is successful.
