Netball team led by Nurfariha beat archrivals Singapore for gold

BANGKOK: The Malaysian netball team led by captain Nurfariha Abdul Razak have captured gold in the SEA Games. 

The girls fought brilliantly to beat Singapore 52-49 in a thrilling final at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok on Wednesday (Dec 17). 

It was the team's third title in a row after also triumphing in the 2017 and 2019 editions in Kuala Lumpur and Manila. 

Netball was not held in 2021 and 2023 in Vietnam and Cambodia.
