BANGKOK: For Naccy Nelly Evvaferra Rojin, the bronze medal in the women’s team kata event was the perfect way to cap off a belated 21st birthday celebration.
Yesterday, Naccy was part of the team when they cleared their quarter-finals hurdle against Brunei before taking a seat on the bench during the semi-finals, where Malaysia narrowly lost with 23.00 points to hosts Thailand (24.10) at the Ratthaprasasanphakdi Government Building in Bangkok.
