Hip setback will not stop Syafiq’s chase for SEA Games treble

KUALA LUMPUR: National diver Mohd Syafiq Puteh refuses to let a troublesome hip derail his quest for a hattrick of SEA Games golds in the men’s 3m springboard in Thailand in December.

The seasoned 30-year-old is racing against time after picking up the injury during training last month, a setback that has limited his preparation and disrupted his rhythm.
