Cheong Min bags gold at Asean-China wushu meet


KUALA LUMPUR: National wushu queen Tan Cheong Min delivered Malaysia’s first gold medal on the opening day of the inaugural Asean-China Women’s Championships in Seremban yesterday.

Cheong Min emerged champion in the nanquan event after an energetic display earned her 9.703 points, edging out China’s Fu Zhenli who scored 9.680 points.
