(Reuters) -Tipperary made a stunning second-half comeback and the underdogs pulled off one of the biggest ever All-Ireland hurling final shocks to defeat Cork by 15 points and lift the Liam McCarthy Cup at Croke Park in front of over 82,000 fans.
Cork, league and Munster champions, came into the decider as heavy favourites in the first final between these two provincial rivals, but a remarkable collapse combined with a Tipperary turnaround denied them a 30th title.
