PARIS (Reuters) - Martin Fuksa of the Czech Republic won gold in the men's canoe single 1,000m final at the Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium on Friday.

Brazil's Isaquias Queiroz came in second to secure the silver medal, with Serghei Tarnovischi of Moldova picking up the bronze
