VERSAILLES (Reuters) - Sweden's star showjumper Henrik von Eckermann, the current world champion and leader in the global rankings, on Tuesday shocked the crowd when he fell from his mount King Edward in the Olympic individual showjumping finals.

Von Eckermann was tipped as one of the favourites for the gold medal. The horse did not fall, and Von Eckermann, 43, was seen walking out of the arena with no apparent signs of injury.
