Khairulnizam has only one shot to get used to uncharted waters before Olympics

PETALING JAYA: Not having previously sailed in Marseille has been a setback for national sailor Khairulnizam Mohd Afendy, but he will get one shot at familiarising himself with the waters before the Paris Olympics.

The city in Southern France will be host to the sailing events for the games at the end of July, and Khairulnizam hasn’t been out at sea there before, which has put him on the back foot against other Olympic-bound sailors.
