Sailor Shazrin rides the washing machine waves

NATIONAL sailor Nur Shazrin Abdul Latif (pic) had to go through a wet and hot cycle, but despite the washing machine conditions, she still stayed top of the standings in the ILCA 6 event at the Asian Games.

Shazrin finished fifth and fourth in races eight and nine to rack up 10 points, taking an eight-point gap from Singapore’s Victoria Chan.
