Outstanding: Mohd Zikri Zakaria set a new record en route to the shot putt gold medal at the Asean Para Games.

PHNOM PENH: National para shot putter Mohd Zikri Zakaria wants to dedicate his gold medal at the Asean Para Games in Cambodia to his second older brother Zolkarnain Zakaria, who has sacrificed so much for his success on the international stage.

The 24-year-old bagged the top prize in the men’s shot putt (F55 – wheelchair) with a throw of 9.86m yesterday and later described his second older brother, whom he fondly calls ‘’Angah’’, as a loyal person who has always been by his side in good and bad times.
