Impressive feat: Isaac Tan Zhen Wei achieved a personal best of 57:55, beating his previous record of 59:58 set in the Asia Triathlon Cup in Ipoh last November.

PETALING JAYA: Triathlete Isaac Tan Zhen Wei secured a confidence booster ahead of his challenge in the Cambodia SEA Games after improving his personal best at the recently concluded Asia Triathlon Cup Subic Bay.

The 17-year-old Isaac achieved a personal best of 57:55, beating his previous record of 59:58 set in the Asia Triathlon Cup in Ipoh last November.
