Nur Ain out show mettle in triples after medals in singles and pairs


PETALING JAYA: Nur Ain Syuhada Asri made her breakthrough in petanque by winning two medals at the World Championships in Karslunde, Denmark, last May but she will be trying out a new event in her SEA Games debut in Cambodia (May 5-17).

In the women’s pairs, Nur Ain and Nur Thahira Tasnim Abdul Aziz secured silver behind Spaniards Aurelia Ruiz-Sara Diaz Reyes after losing 13-2I in the final while the Pahang athlete also took bronze in the singles.
