SEA Games: Norsarah Adi wins surprise pole vault gold

HANOI: Malaysia won their 19th gold medal when pole vaulter Norsarah Adi won her event at the MyDinh Stadium here on Monday (May 16).

The 21-year-old recorded a leap of 4.0m to win her first SEA Games gold medal.

What made her achievement memorable is the fact that this is her debut in the games.

Her previous personal best was 3.6m, which she recorded at the Malaysian Championships last year.
