LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Trainer Bob Baffert has transferred four horses including potential Kentucky Derby contenders to other trainers following a suspension that will keep him out of this year's race at Churchill Downs.

Racing stewards last month nullified Baffert-trained horse Medina Spirit's victory in the 2021 Kentucky Derby due to the presence of a banned drug in his system and handed the Hall of Fame trainer a 90-day suspension and fine of $7,500.
