Ashram wins individual all-around final

TOKYO: Israel’s Linoy Ashram won the gold medal in the rhythmic gymnastics individual all-around competition, ending Russia’s decades-long dominance in the sport.

Ashram, 22, edged out a pair of Russian identical twin sisters who were the favourites.
