Wildcats and Jewels fancied in Netball Super League

KUALA LUMPUR: Who will win the inaugural Netball Super League starting on March 19 at the Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara?

The battle for the coveted title points toward Kuala Lumpur Wildcats and Johor Jewels but six other states are also ready to give the pre-tournament favourites a run for their money in the league.

In a draw conducted yesterday, KL Wildcats have been placed in Group A with Perak Phoenix, Melaka Mystique and Kedah Sunshine.

In Group B together with Johor Jewels are Pahang Tulips, Negri Sembilan Venom and Selangor Angels.

KL Wildcats will be banking on national players, team captain Nur Syafazliana Mohd Ali and Noramirah Dayana Noor Azhar to add depth to the team while Johor have secured the services of three from the national team - Nur Fariha Abdul Razak, Pow Mei Foong and Noor Azilah Aziz.

Selangor Angels will be banking on An Najwa Azizan and Karishma S. Loganathan.
