PETALING JAYA: Form Five student Mohd Aniq Kasdan passed the test at the Indonesia International Weightlifting Championships with flying colours – by winning three gold medals in record style.

The 17-year-old national junior athlete powered his way to lift 138kg in the clean and jerk event and 103kg in snatch to combine for a 241kg overall in the tournament that ended yesterday in Semarang, Indonesia.
