PETALING JAYA: It was just like old times when shuttlers Lee Chong Wei and Tan Wee Kiong-Ong Yew Sin marched into the quarter-finals of the Hong Kong Open.

Veteran Chong Wei survived a scare before prevailing 21-23, 21-11, 21-12 over Wei Nan of Hong Kong in the men’s singles second round at the Hong Kong Coliseum in Kowloon yesterday.
