KUALA LUMPUR: Defending overall champions Tenaga Nasional have lost five points after five matches. And their fullback and most senior player in the team, Mohamed Madzli Ikmar, said yesterday that they have to start converting good performances to victories in matches to stay in contention for the Premier Division title.
Tenaga started off well with a 2-0 win over defending league champions KL Hockey Club (KLHC) on Dec 17. But they dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Maybank on Dec 31 even though they had better control of the match. They regrouped to beat ATM-Airod (3-0) and UiTM (3-2) before a 1-2 defeat by Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL).
