Del Piero proud to score in front of Maradona

MADRID: Alessandro Del Piero was delighted new Argentina coach Diego Maradona was in the crowd to see his two goals which gave Juventus a 2-0 win at Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.

“Maradona was in the stands? I am happy to have scored in front of him. I hope he comes to watch us more often,” Del Piero told reporters after the Italian team secured their place in the last 16.
