BEIJING: Malaysia's Iain Steel fired eight birdies against a lone bogey to join Thai teenager Chinnarat Phadungsil as co-leader after the first round of the Beijing Open yesterday.
Steel, who is of Scottish and Malaysian parentage, said that it was his second time playing at the Pine Valley Golf Club.
