LONDON: Former League Cup winner Peter Mendham was jailed on Wednesday for 7½ years after being found guilty of stabbing his ex-girlfriend.
The 46-year-old former midfielder who was part of the Norwich side that beat Sunderland in the 1985 League Cup final and won the 1986 Second Division championship was found guilty of wounding with intent.
