LONDON: Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton has been given extra time to answer an English Football Association charge of improper conduct.
Barton, 24, was charged after Merseyside police passed on complaints from Everton supporters that he had deliberately bared his backside at them as he walked off the Goodison Park pitch at the end of his side’s 1-1 draw last Saturday.
