LOS ANGELES: A street gangster convicted of shooting and killing the half-sister of US tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams was sentenced on Thursday to 15 years in jail for manslaughter.
Serena Williams addressed the court following the sentencing of Robert Maxfield, 25, who last month pleaded no contest to the voluntary manslaughter of Yetunde Price in a plea deal that allowed him to escape a murder charge.
