NILAI: After a blunder in the ball event, rhythmic gymnast Durratun Nashihin Rosli made a remarkable comeback to retain the individual all-around title but it was gritty junior Wan Siti Haniza Wan Izhar who stole the show in the Malaysian Open Gymnastics Championships at the Nilai Indoor Complex yesterday.
The 15-year-old Durratun started well earning 15.025 points in the rope but stared in horror as the ball bounced out of the competition arena. She was given a low 13.850 points for the mistake.
