SINGAPORE: The English-born coach of a Singapore soccer club has been fined for making racist remarks towards an opposing Moroccan coach in a league match the day of the London terror strikes, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) said yesterday.
Steve Darby,a TV analyst and the coach of Home United, was fined S$500 after he was found guilty of “misconduct and uttering inflammatory remarks which may be interpreted to be of a racist nature,'' the FAS said in a statement.
