KUALA LUMPUR: After a series of interviews, the National Sports Council have named 12 project managers for sports under the Gemilang 2006 special programme.
Of the 18 sports shortlisted under the programme, aquatics (swimming and diving), gymnastics, shooting, lawn bowls, hockey (men), badminton, sepaktakraw, wushu, taekwondo, karate, cycling, archery, bowling, weightlifting, bodybuilding, equestrian, yachting and squash have each been given a project manager.
