DOHA: Bahrain clinched the third place in the 17th Arabian Gulf Cup with a convincing 3-1 win over Kuwait on Thursday.
Bahrain went ahead through a stroke of good fortune in the 32nd minute when Kuwait’s Mesaed Nada lobbed the ball into his team’s own net while attempting to clear a Salman Eissa shot at goal.
