PARIS: French champions Lyon were left unimpressed on Tuesday after hearing the explanation of striker Giovane Elber over his decision to undergo an unauthorised second operation on a leg injury.
The club and the surgeon from the first operation professor Bernard Moyen had expressed their bemusement at the 32-year-old former Bayern Munich star’s decision to go to Germany to have another operation on the broken fibula and ankle ligament injuries he suffered in late August.
