Penang’s Hock Lai still in the running for a semi-final spot

JOHOR BARU: North Zone champion Lee Hock Lai of Penang remains in contention for a place in the semi-finals of the 100PLUS POWER National Junior Badminton Circuit Grand Finals when he defeated Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS) shuttler Loo Yik Xiang at the Johor BA Hall in Larkin yesterday. 

Hock Lai, who lost his opening Group B match to Sabah ’s Beryno Wong on Sunday, recovered to defeat Loo Yik Xiang of BJSS 17-16, 15-8.
