IPOH: Fauziah Abdul Razak struck gold for Malaysia – the first for the country in the championships – in a thrilling 200m women's final in 11th Asian Junior Athletics Championships at the Perak Stadium here last night.
She displayed tremendous speed and fluency to cross the finish line ahead of a heralded field of sprinters including Chinese duo Li Libei and Tao Yujia in a time of 24.49s.
