ABC: Wong wins, injured Lee’s out

THERE was good news and bad news for the Malaysian shuttlers in the Asian Badminton Championships as women's player Wong Mew Choo pulled off an upset over Hong Kong’s Lin Wan Ting, and the top players like Roslin Hashim, Hafiz Hashim and Lee Chong Wei cruised into the second round at the Kuala Lumpur Badminton Stadium yesterday. 

But it was a nightmare for Thomas Cup-bound Lee Tsuen Seng. He came down with a back injury and had to pull out of the tournament. He could not even lift a racquet.
