PETALING JAYA: Kelantan’s Shahrom Abdullah reinforced his ranking as the top duathlete in the country when he won the men’s Open category of the Malakoff Malaysian Duathlon Series (MMDS) at the Dataran Merdeka here yesterday.
Shahrom, the highest placed Asian in the world rankings last year, got off to a slow start in the 10km run yesterday but turned on the power during the 45km cycling leg.
