PARIS: A fund-raising match held in honour of Marc-Vivien Foe (pic), who died playing for his country Cameroon last year, has raised US$248,000.
A cheque for that sum was handed over to the stricken Manchester City midfielder’s widow, Marie Louise, by the French League president Frederic Thiriez here on Friday.
