KUANTAN: The Pahang FA (PFA) are looking forward to a promising year in their challenge for honours in the M-League.
The FAs deputy president, Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah, said that the situation had been strengthened with the presence of two Argentines Spinelli F. Horacio and Cominelli L. Ariel.
I am pleased with their commitment and I believe we will see the results when the league starts, said Tengku Abdul Rahman after witnessing the signing ceremony of 18 players for the new season at the FAs office at the Darulamakmur Stadium here yesterday.
Pahang will feature in the inaugural eight-team Super League.

The morale of the team is very high and they are raring to go out and prove their worth.
I am confident that the team will not fail this time around, said Tengku Abdul Rahman.
Pahang have signed up 19 players thus far for the new season but Juzaili Sameon, however, was not present at the ceremony because he had just undergone a knee operation.
Tengku Abdul Rahman added that they had a good blend of senior and newcomers to carry the challenge for honours.
The players who signed their contracts yesterday were Azmin Azran Abdul Aziz, Mohd Iqbal Suhaimi (goalkeeper); Abdul Ghani Malek, Shahrul Nizam Sahat, Jalaluddin Jaafar, Irwan Fadzli Idrus, Ahmad Shahrizan Salleh and Shahril Faizal Sharifuddin(defenders); Horacio, Ariel, Indra Putra Mahyuddin, Juzaili Sameon, Rosdi Talib, Khairul Nizam Haniff, Fadzly Shaari, Iskandar Zulkarnain, Subri Sulong (midfielders); Hairuddin Omar and Azizul Kamaluddin (strikers).
