Only a silver but it’s a big achievement for youngster Gracie

TEENAGER Gracie Junita shrugged off first time jitters to partner Leong Mun Yee to a silver in the women’s 3m springboard synchronised diving competition at the National Aquatics Centre in Hanoi yesterday. 

Gracie, who turned 13 in June this year, was taking part in her first major competition. But the Sarawakian gave a strong performance to help Malaysia clinch the silver.
