Determination and the desire to fulfil the wish of his late father helped veteran Loo Kum Zee deliver the only gold medal in athletics on the fourth day of the 22nd SEA Games. The 29-year-old athlete had to clear 2.15m on his last jump for the gold medal.
He had already failed twice at the same height. Kum Zee then looked up to the sky, probably asking for divine help.
