SYDNEY: Argentina produced a selection surprise for their World Cup opener against defending champions Australia tomorrow when they relegated flyhalf Gonzalo Quesada, the top points scorer at the 1999 tournament, to the bench.
Quesada's place has been taken by Felipe Contepomi, who started in Argentina's final World Cup warm-up, a 62-22 win over Canada on Aug 30.
