DUISBURG (Germany): South Korea’s Lee Hyun-il (pic) bagged his third title of the year when he outclassed youngster Lin Dan of China 15-4, 15-4 in the men’s singles final of the German Open badminton championships at the Rhein-Ruhr Hall here yesterday.
Earlier in the semi-finals on Saturday, Hyun-II, the winner of the Swiss Open in March and last month’s Dutch Open, prevented an all-Chinese final when he defeated Bao Chunlai 15-10, 15-5.
