KUALA LUMPUR: Iran maintained their supremacy as Asia’s best futsal team when they defeated Japan 6-4 in the final to clinch the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Futsal Championship title for the fifth consecutive year.
Iran triumphed in front of 12,000 home fans at the Azadi Stadium in Teheran, thus cementing their place in the annals of Asian futsal history.
