A relative unknown previously, he has stepped out into his own at, aptly, the Asean Football Federation's Tiger Cup last year, scoring twice in Malaysia’s 4-0 whitewash of Singapore and again against defending champions Thailand, when they won 3-1 to ensure Malaysia’s progress to the semi-finals.
