PENANG: Kenyan John Kelai won the full marathon category of the 2003 Penang Bridge Run yesterday.
Kelai won the 42.195km race in 2'29:56 ahead of countryman Rono Joel Kirkemi (2'30:04) and Malaysia's K. Baskaran (2'34:57).
In the women's race, Malaysia's Yuan Yufang was the winner in 3'09:19. She finishedd ahead of two Thais – Sunisa Sailcmyen (3'09:35) and Apassara Prasathinphimai (3'16:05).
