Button warded after crashing in free practice


MONACO: Briton Jenson Button escaped injury after he crashed heavily at the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix yesterday but was ruled out of final qualifying for today's race. 

The BAR driver, third fastest in Thursday’s qualifying, was taken to hospital and a spokeswoman for the International Automobile Federation (FIA) said he would remain under observation until 1700 GMT.
