BOREHAMWOOD (England): Birmingham City defender Matthew Upson says walking out on FA Cup holders Arsenal was the key to winning his place in Sven-Goran Eriksson's latest England squad.
Unable to secure a first-team spot under Arsene Wenger, Upson joined City for £1million in January and played his part in their successful battle against relegation.
