ASUNCION: Two Paraguayan players have been banned from international football after testing positive for cocaine, the South American Football Confederation (CSF) said on Tuesday.
Their club, 12 de Octubre, blamed the incident on coca tea the pair had taken to alleviate the effects of playing at high altitude in the Ecuadorean captal Quito and said they would appeal.
