GLASGOW: Struggling Scottish Premier League club Dundee United have sacked manager Paul Hegarty and replaced him with Ian McCall in an attempt to try and arrest their form slump.
United chairman Eddie Thompson appointed Hegarty as manager until the end of the season in November but fired him on Thursday with the club rooted at the bottom of the league. The team have failed to win any of their last 11 matches.
