SEPANG: Seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton was pleasantly surprised after he qualified on the front row for the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia yesterday.

The Ferrari driver will start today’s race alongside pole sitter Max Verstappen at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) as Formula One returned to Malaysia for the first time since 2017.
