Hafizh secures ASB1000 title after emotional Sepang ride for Farres

PETALING JAYA: Tears were flowing underneath Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah’s visor as he crossed the finish line at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) to defend his ASB1000 Superbike crown on Sunday.

The JDT Racing Team rider finished second in Race 2 of Round 5 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), a result that was enough to secure the championship after a dominant season.
