PETALING JAYA: Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman (pic) rode to a perfect National Day gift when he took his first win in the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) ASB1000 season at the Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia on Sunday.

The 40-year-old veteran racer has not had the smoothest of seasons, but his ride in Race 2 of the fourth round saw him make a stunning comeback to the top spot of the podium for A1 Energy BMW Racing Team.
